OASIS Open Composite Services Architecture (CSA) defines two sets of specifications; The Service Component Architecture (SCA) and Service Data Objects (SDO).

SCA (Service Component Architecture) provides language independent interconnection definition among service components. Its also called Service Composition.

A SCA composition constitutes of an input, output and properties. In SCA parlance, the input is called a Service, while output is called Reference.
